Jenerally Speaking

Okay, so I am working hard at trying to organize my online life.  Again.  This means I am going through all my blogs and web sites, trying to figure out which ones I want to keep and which ones I am going to integrate with the others.

As I am doing this, I find myself getting sidetracked as I begin signing up for nifty little sites like Technorati and TwitterMoms and HubPages.  I am also coming across tons of articles about proper post tagging, effective blogging layouts and monetizing web sites.  There is so much information out there.  Where have I been?  How could I be so far behind?

While it’s all a little overwhelming and while my brain might be experiencing a little bit of blogging/internet/Web 2.0/social networking overload…I am loving it.

I love that I can keep an online journal with my thoughts and experiences and place them on pages that are customized with the colors and images that make me happy.  I love that there are soooo many new topics out there and that the internet is constantly changing and growing.  I love that I am going to spend the next few weeks learning about all these current internet trends and maybe try to pass the knowledge on to others.  I probably will never get away from my inner need to learn and teach.  I am a lifelong student and enthusiastic teacher.  I’ve been out of the loop for a few years, but I am going to try and make a comeback.  I have a lot to learn, but it’s going to be fun!
