It strange – I don’t know why this story has me so riveted: Salt Lake Tribune – Lori Hacking I think it’s scary to think that you know someone…and to find out that you don’t know them at all. Not a single person has said anything to the fact that they ‘had a feeling’ something wasn’t right with the husband. He had them all believing lies about him.
To have someone work so hard to live a life of lies…the stress of that and the loneliness. My guess is that the lies started to crumble and he cracked. How sad to think that he couldn’t go to someone for help. How terrifying to think that his poor wife…who loved him…would lose her life because of this. As someone said, it makes you think about all of your other relationships and just how well you know those around you.
