Jenerally Speaking

Would you believe that we are in the middle of yet another snow storm here? They are expecting nearly 20 inches of snow (that is in addition to the 15 inches we received last week). Every spring and summer we forget how lousy winters can be up here. It’s a pretty place to live…lots of trees, mountains, streams, etc., but when 6 months out of the year you have grey skies and lots of snow and ice, the pretty view rather loses its effect. The roads become impassable and you are stuck indoors until the plows drive by your house.
Well, Meghan had a fun week this week. She went back to school yesterday, but they had a 2-hour delay due to morning ice. Then they had a snow day today. In the past 2 weeks, she has only been in school for 5 hours. According to her, snow days are the best part of school. *grins* To be young again!
